Hi, Amazing Person,

We are still in the spirit of celebrating love. Chocolate covered strawberries are what I would call a love-classic. You will find them at weddings, proposals, baby showers, or events that have some kind of love theme. I put my own twist on this classic by combining sprinkles, crushed peanuts (groundnuts), and coconut flakes.

This recipe is ideal for students or anyone trying to enjoy a nice treat on a budget. My favorite part is that it barely needs any major equipment. I melted the chocolate with boiling water, but a microwave works just fine too.

Ingredients

1) Strawberries – 7
2) Chocolate – 2  bars/6 Ounces
3) Coconut Oil – 1 Tablespoon
4) Sprinkles – 1 Tablespoon
5) Crushed Peanuts – 2 Tablespoon
6) Coconut Flakes – 2 Tablespoon

Steps

1) Put 3 cups of water in a pot and bring to boil
2) Place a ceramic bowl above boiling water and put the chocolate
3) Stir until chocolate is fully melted
4) Add coconut oil and stir
5) Wash strawberries and take out the stalk
6) Insert toothpick into strawberries to give enough room to coat strawberries
7) Coat the strawberries with chocolate
8) Pour either of the toppings (sprinkles, crushed peanuts, & coconut flakes) on the coated strawberries
9) Refrigerate for 15 minutes or more
10) Enjoy
